Asit Jansari

Director and Solicitor

Asit qualified at the University of Teesside in 1998 and then completed the LPC at the College of Law, Chester in 1999.  Asit then commenced by traineeship with a Legal 500 practice in 2000, qualifying in March 2002.

Asit is a Dispute Resolution solicitor and works within the Civil & Commercial Litigation department at the firm.  

Asit tends to advise individuals and businesses in relation to debt recovery, unpaid loans between family members, unpaid invoice recovery, claims for late payment compensation for business-to-business debts, claims between neighbours -whether for nuisance or trespass issues, or boundary concerns.  Breaches of contracts, disputes between shareholders/directors within a company and Partnership disputes. Also, residential tenancy possessions and compliance for lettings agents.  Court enforcement advice and recovery of unpaid judgement debts.

Currently Asit's caseload seems to be overrun with residential tenancy evictions, whether under section 21 or section 8, along with many claims involving commercial disputes ranging from unpaid consultancy fees to directors/shareholders having fallen out and harming the company and refusing to comply with Companies House requirements.

Asit is a member of BNI Loughborough,  the co-founder and treasurer for the Leicester & District Pool League (the largest pool league in the UK).  Asit recently stepped back from being the Vice Chairman at Syston Town Council.

Asit is passionate about supporting Diabetes UK as he is a type 1 diabetic and has been since he was 7 years of age.  As a result of this, Asit has volunteered to assist Diabetes UK to make a difference in the lives of other children with diabetes.
