Ruby Rai qualified in 2008 after completing her LPC at the Inns of Court School of Law, London. Ruby is an international Employment Lawyer, with over 14 years PQE experience gained both within the United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates. Ruby has advised multinational organisations, government entities and many companies including household names.
Ruby provides professional and pragmatic advice on a broad range of employment services for both individuals and companies. Ruby enjoys working with clients, offering tailored solutions to many employment issues such as redundancies, restructuring and TUPE provisions.Ruby has assisted with securing favourable exit packages for senior employees as well advising and preparing robust settlement agreements.
Ruby also advises on and drafts grievances and disciplinary processes, policies, procedures, and employment contracts and agreements. Ruby also advises on contentious matters and manages proceedings within the Employment Tribunal for unfair dismissal, discrimination and breach of contract claims.
Ruby is a member of the Law Society of England & Wales (including the International Division) since 2008 and a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. Ruby likes to keep abreast of employment updates and has written articles for various publications like the Cayman National Wealth Magazine and firm newsletters. Ruby also enjoys speaking at seminars, delivering presentations and inhouse training.
Ruby lives in Kenilworth and is a Committee member of the Kenilworth Chamber of Trade which provides support for local businesses and the community.Ruby is a keen fitness and health enthusiast and enjoy Pilates, ZUU HIT training and developing her understanding of Ayurveda. In her spare time, Ruby enjoys watching performances, visiting new places and spending quality time with friends and family.
